The ATA Indigenous Education Council is open to all Indigenous and non-Indigenous educators. The vision of the council is to facilitate professional development related to First Nation, Métis and Inuit education. The council advocates for First Nation, Métis and Inuit students. We work to build capacity by connecting teachers/educators to Indigenous resources and foster relationships with Elders and Knowledge Keepers.
